An artist making clowns out of haters, Lockdown is so f**king hot in Australia right now the media can’t stop talking about it. And it’s no wonder – after a trio of consecutive Beatport #1’s, collabs with international EDM icons and a cult following so nasty they’ve had to shut down all the clubs. Lockdown’s hypnotic and infectious basslines are grooving their way into the playlists of the masses and earning millions of streams across digital platforms worldwide.
With his music played by heavyweight artists like Timmy Trumpet, Ben Nicky, Will Sparks and Dimatik it’s no surprise fans of down and dirty electronic music can’t get enough. His production work is so revered that US superstars Steve Aoki and Carnage reached out to collaborate on their single ‘Plur Genocide’ which featured on Carnage’s own artist album ‘Battered Bruised & Bloody’. More collabs followed with Uberjack’d and an official remix for the Stafford Brothers on Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s own label ‘Smash The House’.
Lockdown’s energetic performances literally tear the roof of venues (*court case pending) and other complaints include excessive soreness in the feet, hips and fists for days after performances, Delayed Onset Dancing Condition or DODC for short. The man behind the mask is the one to watch but you’ll never get to see him. Rumour has it that his mask was made mandatory by officials when the fire in his eyes was found to be causing global warming.
Danger may actually be his middle name. Enter the dance-floor at your own risk!
